In my painting, I tried to capture the vibrant and changing essence of the highest mountains on Earth: on the left in the background stands out the summit of Everest with its 8849 meters above sea level while in front on the right semi-shrouded by clouds rises the lhotse which with its 8516 meters is the fourth highest peak on the planet.
The warm colors of the rocks are obtained with a mixture of cement gypsum and pigments, which create a strong visual as well as tactile impact. Mixing impressionism and expressionism, I wanted to express the almost tangible emotion that is felt in front of the majesty of nature. This work transmits a sense of strength and serenity, inviting those who observe it to reflect on the grandeur and mystery of the natural world. It will be a source of energy and inspiration in every space in which it will be placed.
