A sweet portrait of a little boy or girl standing in / walking through a doorway. I like to paint portraits with a narrative that can be left to the viewer to interpret. For this reason I rarely define the backgrounds, and always paint my subjects in emotive or thoughtful positions that lead the viewer to create the story for the painting.
