Indian Ink, Graphite & Red Pencil

Edgar Degas said, "Art is not what you see but what you make others see". Wise words indeed and ones I now understand. Since becoming a full-time artist I've created art works that I absolutely believed would be universally liked/loved. The space (or rather lack of it) underneath my bed begs to differ. I have also created works that I was unsure about, only for them to sell the moment I put them up for sale. There is no rhyme or reason, so I will carry on painting what I love and hope for the best :)
