I love cats (I have 7 of them!) and they are endlessly fascinating! I love their eyes and the way they fix you with a stare. And what a privilege to be the recipient of a slow blink! They love you because they decide to and I admire their independence.

I've just started drawing with charcoal and I'm hooked on it as a medium - it is so much bolder than pencil. There will be lots more drawings to come, I'm sure...
