Original artwork description:

My “Catching The Light” series of paintings developed during the pandemic. Increasingly I found myself drawn to paint skies and light. The sky for me speaks of space and freedom, and the glimpses of spectacular light offered hope to me. It felt important to me to notice and celebrate the transient moments of beauty that nature offered, and that sustained me through this period. The dark winter skies were lifted on this evening by wonderful oranges and golds.
