'Catastrophe' (Cat Ass Trophy) from my "Series of Pun Paintings". In my 'pun paintings' I deconstruct the English language by use of the pun. I was once told “it isn’t what you paint, but how you paint it.” I became bound and determined to prove that statement wrong. In my work it is about what I paint and how I paint it that makes it jump off the canvas. My Pun Paintings appeal to me personally for the humorous aspect and the witty form of intellectual play. Collectors of my work have expressed to me how much they love my work, every time they see it, it makes them smile and ready for whatever activity is next on the agenda. Also what a great conversation starter they are.
