The woman on my painting sitting behind a computer in my local public library. She uses the computer to find the book she would love to read.

Besides images words are the tools we use to think. The more you read, the more words you know and as a result your thoughts will be more accurate.

As a painter I'm interested in moments like this, it makes me wonder what she's thinking about.

I also love that while there so much going on around her, there's also a powerful sense of stillness and peacefulness in this painting. The colors are mostly cool,
but there's a lot of warmth in the painting as well.
