Cats have exceptional hearing, and tilting their heads helps them pinpoint the source and determine the distance of a particular sound. It allows them to focus their ears in the direction of the noise. Now you would like to know what was the noise that made him tilt his head??!!

His half-sister Kasthuri, the black beauty was on my lap and making low growling noises to keep him from sharing her bed (my lap) and that's what he was listening to, tilting his head so sweetly!

This is one of many watercolour sketches of my pet cat Kuppu, who has gone missing since 28th February 2023.

I am keeping his memories fresh by painting his many pictures.
