This is a painting for all year round but I can quite safely say there will be a lot more cats in boxes this time of year!

I'm really enjoying this looser way of painting and I think this piece has worked particularly well it has been painted on an 8x8 inch cradled wooden panel using crayons, pencils and acrylic paint, I have also scratched into the surface to create a layered textured effect. The edges are painted box brown and he has been sealed with satin varnish and is ready to hang.

I think this fun painting would make a great gift for and cat lover.
