A curious cat inspects a tiny damsel fly: a very modern, stylish, semi-abstract interpretation.
FRAMED AND READY TO HANG. Mounted on bevel-cut soft white conservation grade mountboard and framed in a hand made, extremely solid pine frame stained black with a beautiful waxed finish. Glazed with 3mm optical grade acrylic, preferred by most museums over glass due to it's vastly superior protection and safety factors.

Hand-pulled original etching print on 300gsm Hahnemühle velvet surface paper. Printed from a metal printing plate using a hand-cranked etching press. This medieval process gives prints which have a beautiful subtlety, each is slightly different as the printing plate is laboriously inked by hand. Making the printing plate itself involves a huge amount of meticulous work.
