This piece was part of a series of paintings exhibited in my first solo show at Soda Gallery Sydney in 2004. The show was entitled Lighting the Body and was reviewed by Lenny Ann Low from the Sydney Morning Herald who said: 'There is something of the cool '60's femme in the bold paintings of Trisha Lambi. Each of her paintings exude a mysterious imperturbability somehow mixed with a hot, blushing light that seems to emit from the body. What she has done in her paintings, in particular in the works Casual Observer, Dreaming I and II, and Basking, is collar light's absorption and containment in the skin.'' There are only two paintings remaining for sale from this series.
