Original artwork description:

A watercolor sketch from nature "The Fortress in Kamyanets" was painted during my plein air travel in western Ukraine in early spring 2020.

My plein air in 2020 was during self-isolation, I traveled by bicycle and painted, lived in a tent. He visited Khotin, Kamyanets-Podolsk and Pochaev. Before this plein air I was in Kamyanets as a child, although it is only 150 km from the house where I grew up. Therefore, I rediscovered the beauty of this city and the picturesque fortress.

I painted it from all possible sides, both popular viewing platforms and completely unknown ones, at different times of the day, in the morning at sunrise, at night, in the afternoon, I have accumulated a whole collection of works with views of the fortress from different sides and in different states.

The work was painting by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

Also on my page you can see other original paintings painted from life during my plein air travels in Italy, India, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey. And also see my paintings with flowers and still lifes painted from nature.

All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
