This atmospheric landscape has been created using bold brushstrokes to convey the warm, early morning sunlight falling across the gardens at the entrance to the Castle in Lisbon. The attractive colours of the olive trees and brightly coloured buildings of Portugal, caught before the crowds arrive, inspired this quiet and peaceful semi-abstract painting.

This piece was painted using Michael Harding Professional Artists Oil Colours, on gesso primed board. It is signed and dated on the back and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
