On one of my many walks around Venice I came across this house with a small garden in the district of Castello. Gardens are an unusual sight in Venice as land is at such a premium which is why I noticed it and decided to paint it. The lighting, like many of my paintings is imagined.
Materials used:
oil on mdf board, gessoed on both sides.
