As the artist, I wanted to capture the zebra’s essence and elegance in this oil painting on canvas. I was drawn to the unique beauty of its stripes, which I painstakingly detailed to emphasize the natural flow and rhythm of its pattern. Using a soft, dusky background, I aimed to bring the zebra into focus, letting the subtle shades of grey and warm pink create an atmosphere reminiscent of dawn or dusk.
