Artwork description:

This one of a kind artwork is constructed of 36 individually printed cassette tapes. This collection of cassettes makes a statement artwork for the retro music fan.

Each printed cassette is larger than actual cassettes measuring approximately 10 cm x 15 cm.

The lino prints are printed onto found papers, these are papers from magazines, and newspapers mostly. Chosen for the colours and text which shows in the none printed areas of the cassettes.
Printed in several colours of Caligo safe ink (one cassette also has a golden shimmer added through bronze pigment) They have been collaged onto a heavy grade paper making a large collection of colourful tapes. Some with acrylic pen names on the cassettes.

Medium: hand-cut lino printed cassettes on found papers collaged onto on Fabriano Pittura Acrylic Paper 400 g/m² - 185 lbs. It is made from high-grade cellulose and is wood-free. This paper is acid-free, with archival permanence, and a rough, natural-grain surface.

This painting is supplied unframed and unmounted, rolled in a wide postal tube.

It is signed and dated on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Up to 3 paper artworks can be shipped in one tube for the same shipping charge as one painting. Any excess shipping costs will be refunded to you.
