Artwork description:

Cascais curve eight way No.1

Edition of only 10 exclusive signed prints

Style: Graphic. Minimalist. Line. Transparent colour. Geometric. Optical.

One of a series of prints based on using the square/pyramid/cone format to create strong forms, patterns and optical elements. These particular prints are influenced by the crab traps and lobster pots I'd seen stacked on Praia da Ribeira de Cascais Lisbon on Portugals Atlantic coast. I was drawn to the criss-crossing of the strong wire framed cubes/rectangles with metal, plastic trap cones and how the shadows moved within the framework.

All my artwork is drawn directly into the computer (no scans or photographs) using vector lines and curves. The finished artwork is printed out as a high quality limited edition Giclée print on high quality heavy weight archival paper 250gsm.

This is an original digital artwork. The above image is taken directly from the image file, rather than being photographed or reproduction of the final print.

Printed colours can vary slightly from those produced by a computer screen.

Your print will wrapped in layers of acid free tissue then rolled into a strong cardboard tube for posting along with a letter from the artist.

By default the print is cut with a 1.5 cm white border. If you wish your print to be cut to the edge of the image let me know.

Materials used:

vector software on a laptop, output on high quality 250gsm matt paper
