Dedication to one of the most powerful and revolutionary artists of all time - Frida Kahlo.
On the Women's Day, I wanted to paint a work that will be my dedication to women, and that will emphasize the importance of women in society and in artistic creation.

Large canvas on which I used basic oil and acrylic paints (red, blue, yellow, green) in combination with black and white tones. The picture shows Frida in the yard of her house in Mexico with her dog, a peacock, a multitude of plants that I stylized. She is presented as the central character while painting, looking the observer in the eye. At her feet is a ready-made painting, a self-portrait.

In the background are two naked drawings made in oil pastels - representing sketches by Diego Riviera for his murals. I wanted to infiltrate into the picture all the essential segments from Frida’s life.
