The interior painting "Carpathian Smoke with Houses" was drawn from life during my plein air travel in the Carpathians in 2020.

I lived with relatives in the village of Shepot in the very Carpathian outback on the border with Romania and painted local landscapes from life. The place is very beautiful with high mountains, mountain rivers and waterfalls, forests, and of course with picturesque colorful wooden houses.

Smoke from bonfires, which are often burned in the spring in the Carpathians, gives color to all work. A funny incident happened when I showed this work from nature to my relative, he pointed to the smoke and asked: "Are these bears fried kebabs?"

The work was painted by professional watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
