Artwork description:

Vintage fairground rides attract me with their bold colours and carefully painted naïve graphics. I really enjoyed creating this reduction linocut with its two carved carousel ride horses- Amber and Elizabeth.

This is a limited edition created via the Reduction Linocut method of printing. This uses one piece of lino which is progressively cut and printed , destroying the lino in the process. A reduction print can therefore never be reprinted as the whole batch of prints must be printed at the start and will determine the final number in any edition.

Lino and water washable ink on Japanese Similie paper
