Original artwork description:

The beautiful painted vintage horses of a carousel. Still seen in fairgrounds and also on seafronts or the side of the River Thames.

Blur of speeding lights, bright colours glimpsed through the gently rustling trees. People quiet. Adults holding their children close. The horses rising up and down on the twisted golden poles.

Created with palette knifes. First the background was blocked in (see studio shot - painting on the left easel). Then the paint was applied with vigour creating energetic movement and texture. A golden acrylic adds the vintage feel of the painting style of these wonderful horses (close up shot of the twisted mane of one horse).

The canvas is unframed and can be hung as is as it has over-painted edges (a continuation of the painting image and colours - as seen in the close up photo). D-rings and hanging cord attached.
