Original artwork description:
This is an oil study from a life session, painted fairly early on in my developments in oil painting. The brush marks are quite small, applied in a short strokes to build up a fine texture of colour. The end result is quite a gentle, sympathetic painting, slightly impressionistic in approach.
It's painted on a canvas sheet, simply display with a card mount, cello wrapped - ready for framing.
