Original artwork description:

This brooding painting came about as a result of my love of Vincent VanGogh's work, as an homage to his domestic paintings of furniture and the iconic sunflowers.
The empty chair and the flower out of the vase can be interpreted any way you choose but was painted when my eldest child was preparing to leave home for university.
It comes unframed and signed on the back. It can be mounted or framed in variety of ways to your taste or hung as in the photos.
