I set up this still life during a stormy week in winter. Our flower shop had received a fresh shipment of some of my most favorite flowers which I placed in a cheery red pitcher for Valentines. This painting represents happiness and a sense of wellbeing with a warm background, a dish of blueberries and a slice of lemon.
