Original artwork description:

This is a 5"x7" gouache painting on 140 lbs 100% cotton cold pressed watercolor paper. Gouache is very closely related to watercolor. It uses the same gum Arabic binder, but has more pigment which is not ground as finely as watercolor. Professional gouache colors are so opaque and vibrant because they have the highest pigment load of any other painting medium.

The painting is unframed and will require a frame to hang on the wall. It is varnished and can be framed without glass. It comes in a 8"x10" mount/mat and is ready for framing. Visual art area is 6.5” x 4.5”. Fits in any standard (USA) 8”x10” frame.
