This painting was inspired by the beautiful colors of the sky, illuminated by the setting sun, and the reflections of it in the ocean at the Carmel Beach in mid-spring.

Materials used to create this artwork:
Oil on oil-primed stretched Centurion DLX linen canvas.
Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish. The painting continues around the sides of canvas. It is unframed, has a hanging fixture in the back on the stretcher-bars, and ready to hang without a frame. You could also display it on a decorative table-top easel (not included).
