Monterey cypress are native to California's Monterey Bay. I love how they line the scenic route along the beach. These sculptural trees form a natural wind barrier, protecting the beach below and casting lovely blue and purple shadows on the sand.

Materials:
Oil on oil-primed Centurion DLX linen canvas stretched on heavy duty pine bars. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish. Unframed, wired in the back on stretcher bars, and ready to hang.
