This is an original oil painting of the Carlton cinema in Westgate on Sea.
A really unusual building for this area, it was speculatively built to house the town council in 1910. Two years later, it was converted into a cinema, as it remains today.

This painting was made on the spot, with friends on a warm day.

It measures 10” x 12” unframed, is signed, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It should appeal to all those who know and love Westgate. (ref 1560)
