Oil on linen 60x40x2cm (23.6x15.8x0.8in) 2013 SOLD, private collection, Sweetwater, USA.
“Carla” is one of my first portraits. The subject is my neighbour and close friend Carla, who posed for me while playing cards in her living room. I payed much attention in painting the details and tried to make the portrait look very similar to the old woman in the picture. The background is a fast-painted but detailed home interior.
“Carla” is an oil on linen painting stretched on a wooden canvas. It is now part of a private collection in the USA.
