Original artwork description:

An impressionistic painting of Cape Byron Lighthouse, an active heritage-listed lighthouse that sits on Australia's most easterly point, a shining light over Byron Bay.
I have used a drawing method of scratching back to reveal complementary red, orange and yellow undertones in the background paint layers. Thick acrylic paint is used to achieve the textures showing the history of the paint application and mark making; the way you can see through to the under painting where I have scratched creates an overlapping pattern with a beautiful rhythm of colors and textures.

- This artwork will be shipped rolled in a tube and need to be brought to a framer for re-stretching or framing. Please contact me if you require a quote for a large fully framed piece.
- The work is varnished for protection.
- Signed at the back with my name, date, and artwork title.
