This is an artwork I created based on a larger I created out of despise for people purchasing canvas prints. This is one of two close ups.

Canvas prints are made of plastic and MDF, they're built to be disposable and I don't consider them art. The economy pours so much money into this fast-turning-trash and I'm not convinced it's because the consumers see meaning in these “abstract” prints of splotches. I believe canvas prints contribute considerably to the yearly trash load and play a huge part in creating a tough environment for artists to thrive.


This is not one of my hand stretched artworks, not framed, although is ready to hang.
