This is an original limited edition etching of Cannon Street Railway Bridge on the river Thames in the city of London, looking east from upstream Southwark Bridge. It is set in atmospheric weather conditions, by way of focusing on the ruggedness of steel used in the building of the railway bridge and its industrial element in connection with the railway. It was made using a steel plate, and a soft ground, finished with shading made through the use of aquatint. The edition is of 75 prints, printed on off-white cotton velvet Somerset paper using tinted black printers ink.
