Original artwork description:

This landscape is part of my 2022 series of original silk paintings, all laminated to my sculpted glass: part of my collection of small unique sculptural artworks.

The sculpted glass is created by hand from recycled antique glass in my woodland studio on the English/Welsh borders at Knockin Heath. It contains glass recovered from an ancient greenhouse in the tudor town of Shrewsbury on the banks of the Severn, newly cast on my custom sand-bedded kiln.

I painted and drew the image using digital pencil and brush before transferring it to silk and reworking it there in pen, before laminating it to the cast glass.

It's mounted on its own base ready to show, but it can be hung if you wish: just ask and I'll provide a neat cable hanging or a frame, as you wish.
