Original artwork description:

2020, the Spanish government orders a national lockdown due the COVID-19 pandemic. I had just moved to the region of Catalunya and like the rest of country’s residents, I stayed in partial isolation. To break the monotony of life indoors I bought myself and pochade box for plein-air painting. What a blissful moment it was to roll it in my shopping trolley to the nearby by park and paint the surrounding vegetation.

This painting was made in Can Cases Park, Martorell. I liked picking out the different hues in the trees. A passer by commented that her mother had grown up in the house depicted in the top left corner.
