There are many reasons I love camping when I travel.

Some are to do with the idealised romance of camping, such as sleeping out under the stars, and being one with nature.

Others are to do with camping being a cheap way to travel.

It's helped me travel the world and explore remote parts of my country, and enjoy indescribable views in the mountains.

This painting was created using impasto technique, with the palette knife to add volume and energy to this artwork.
