Artwork description:

Hand made Collagraph print of a Camellia flower surrounded by leaves and bracken. Printed on 370 gsm watercolour paper. A Collagraph print is one made from a plate with different textures. My printing plate is made from mounting board. I Collaged my plate with different textures in this instance I cut my flower out of the paper and stuck it to the plate with PVA glue. I then haded leaves and bracken etc and left to harden before coating in Shellac. The plate is then coloured with stay open inks and then put through the press. I will pack this print flat between layers of cardboard (see me at work pic) This print is sold unframed.
