Yes, vertically, I do see an Emerald Empire State Building being showered by an arc of confetti. Such is my mind. Horizontally though, I began by washing the canvas with colors meant to at once soothe, yet capture attention with their vibrance. I found, though, I had laid an emerald green body of water far off in the horizon, even though I had intended not to paint anything literal. Wanting to include unrecognizable shapes, a scribed an arc with a brush and couldn't help but turn it into a rainbowed shower over this body of water. In papaya, mango, lemon and lime, this Calypso palette of energy mischievously fizzed into a happy explosion off the moody purple sky.
Please also note that the in-situ image shows an additional mat and frame that may be added but are not included or necessary. The deep 1-1/2" edges of your canvas have been painted as extensions of the main composition.
