Charcoal drawing on acid free art paper. A drawing based on observations of a calm sea where I live in North Wales. A soft breeze travels gently above the surface of the sea creating wave patterns which travel slowly towards the shore and rocks where it is observed. A mesmerizing and somewhat hypnotic experience takes place in observing it and sketching it, as endless ripples are created by the wind without end.
This an unframed work with a 2cm white border which helps in handling and framing,this border is always hidden behind the 'over-matt' after framed etc .(Fits well on an A1 size frame)
