A peaceful scene of a Scottish loch landscape inspired by the Northwest Highlands of Scotland. In this impressionist view I have tried to capture the mood, tranquillity and atmospheric light of the hills and mountains of this wild and remote area of the British Isles with it's dramatic light over the loch.
Painted in muted minimalist grey green colours in a modern contemporary semi abstract impressionist style.

Painted using quality artists acrylics on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
