Original artwork description:

'Calm After Chaos' was inspired by the works of Joan Mitchell and was created during a time of political turmoil in January of 2021. The brushwork is energetic with a bold spontaneity in ultramarine, light blue, and green.

The work has been created using professional acrylic paint on a textured surface of Gesso. The edges of this work are a continuation of the painting, therefore, no frame is required unless desired

A thin layer of Liquitex Professional Satin Varnish has been applied for protection.
The painting is signed on the front and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity

This work is ready to hang with wire attached. (For delivery within mainland North America)

For collectors outside of North America, this painting will be sent rolled in a TUBE (removed from its stretcher bars and sent without stretcher bars) to allow for reasonably priced shipping and safe transport. Simply take the painting to any professional framer to have it re-stretched and framed if desired.
