Original artwork description:

Working on this sheet I was inspired by Soviet Realism works. I aimed to combine its severity with foreign for it shamanic subject and mood. I used reverse perspective to enhance the effect of metaphysics and surrealism happening in this painting.
Reverse perspective is widely used in Orthodox icons to express the heavenly order of subjects. I like to create an alternative world, alternative iconography which impacts something deep and primordial in my mind.
