"Calligrave" is a figurative abstract artwork, created in a graphic way.
The artist established several levels of reading in this artwork with contrasts of materials to obtain effects that invigorate it while bringing movement and freshness. The integration of the red square in the middle and the calligraphy reinforce this sensation. JL Lacroix completed his painting with a stylized character embellished with a gold stamp and typography for the final composition.
