Calderglen Country Park on the outskirts of East Kilbride is transformed into Narnia when it snows. I love sketching in the park on bright sunny days, and this painting came from such a trip. The bend in the Rotten Calder Water just north of the Horseshoe Falls, near to the Visitor Centre. A heron was fishing in the cold waters, unperturbed by my presence.
