Caithness moon Scottish landscape painting, inspired by the coastline cliffs and shore with broken seastacks around the coast of Caithness in the far north highlands of Scotland.
A small monochrome study in black and white, with a slight touch of light blue in the water. in this painting I have tried to convey the atmosphere of an evening under a full moon beside the grey slate cliffs of this area.

Painted with a palette knife and fingers, using quality artists acrylics on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and contemporary square style white limewash finished wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
