An original Scottish landscape painting. Painted in an atmospheric impressionist style, with a contemporary brooding moody stormy sky using a unique textured effect with multiple layers of under painting showing through. With a traditional Caithness croft or farm cottage and tin roofed barn surrounded by the flat heather moorland landscape in muted autumn or winter colors typical of the moorland areas of the far north of Scotland.

Painted with quality artists acrylics and mixed media on a lightly textured black canvas surface on a 16" x 16" (40 x 40cm) box canvas, with a matt varnish finish and black painted edges ready to hang.
