This plein-air oil on panel painting is of the coastline in Caithness by Castle Mey, once the Queen Mother's home, it has been painted from inside looking out of the window owing to the need for height and also the windy weather. The Castle is situated to the left of the scene but is not depicted in the painting, what you see it Harrow Harbour in the distance across land belonging to the castle. The work is unframed ready to be popped into a frame of you choice and the size of the painting is 22.5cm high x 30cm wide
