An anonymous woman dressed in vintage attire, is seated next to a worn, drab wall, in a corner of a cafe...This piece is inspired by a favorite Artist of mine, who also migrated to France quite early in his painting career, and found a following for his work; Modigliani. Drab, and plain settings, were typical of the backdrops in which Modigliani set his figures...This canvas is painted around the edges so it can be hung, unframed.
