On seeing this cactus I wanted to record the beautiful texture and detail and was so fortunate that the stunning flower was out in full bloom.
An original hand-pulled screen print. One colour is printed at a time by hand using a squeegee which pushes ink through the screen onto the paper. For each new colour the artist makes a separate drawing/stencil and different coloured layers are built up to create a design.
