All the visible parts have in common that they are made of visible wood but have a particular treatment: stained, painted or engraved, which gives the whole its unity, both colored and textural. The subject is made of engraved lines lined with green pencil and extends inside and outside the frame in the form of a closed loop like a lying eight but with two abrupt angles which would have followed the influence of 'a Z.
