This is another painting of someone playing an instrument I've always wished that I had more time to learn to play. Then again, there are so many others. So, I'll just paint them living my dream.
It was painted on "Strathmore" oil painting paper, and it is an awesome substrate that I plan to use more and more. The texture is just right to grab the paint, and the smoother "tooth" leaves the brush stroke smoother which, for me, creates more depth of darks... adding drama.
